Advanced Materials - public sector client

As Materials are seen as a key enabler to the region, we were contracted to map Materials organisations across the East Midlands region to; understand existing capability, understand the regional need of key primes, identify gaps between these and ultimately identify potential inward investment opportunities and candidates.
The work involved researching existing data and reports, defining the elements of the advanced materials community, identifying key stakeholders for involvement in the project, undertaking a desk based exercise to create a database of relevant organisations, consulting face-to-face with key prime organisations to establish associated need and analysing supply chain gaps / identification of inward investment opportunities.
To close out the project we brought together and distilled all the principal elements of the project in order to identify the current situation, identify gaps and opportunities for inward investments in the materials sector of the East Midlands.
