Latest Oil and Gas Sector Funding Opportunities

The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) has recently announced the launch of a new funding competition for the development of innovation in the oil and gas sector. Fundable projects will be short term feasibility studies in one of the following technology areas: Increasing recovery efficiencies and improving asset integrity and extending life of offshore installations. Projects must be collaborative between a minimum of two organisations either from industry or academia, but be industry led, and last for between 6 and 12 months.

For SME’s based in Scotland wishing to pursue innovative product/process development, SMART grants are available with a maximum grant of £600k for projects up to three years in duration. For non-Scottish UK SME’s, UK SMART grants are available with up to £250k of grant for projects up to two years in duration.
