Project Management Training - public and private sector clients
Many companies grow rapidly and struggle to put in place the correct and necessary processes and controls. This is very true of the need for robust and efficient project management. We have developed a well respected two day project management course (based on our past experience of running projects in the Aerospace, Industrial and Nuclear sectors and in accordance with the PRINCE2 methodology) that can be delivered as an open course (non-company specific) or closed (very company specific). With the closed version, we work closely with the client to understand current business and information flows and to identify where bottlenecks, aggravations and frustrations occur. The two day course is then bespoked to suit the particular client needs. On completion of the training a workshop is held to identify and resolve underlying issues against the background of newly trained and educated personnel. We have delivered this into a number of organisations including ambulance forces, construction, software and engineering companies to great success.
Cash flow Training - public and private sector clients
A great deal of companies fail to manage cash and their accounts in sufficient detail to enable them to be on the front foot with discussions with their bank manager and have knowledge of their businesses near financial future 0 to 3 months or so. We have developed a cash flow training course which covers profit and loss and cash flow and why you need to know the difference, the 1% rule, the effect of price increases and decreases on sales, breakeven analysis, understanding your formal accounts and planning a rolling three month cash flow forecast. Whilst some serious messages and practical tips are embedded, the course is fun, fast paced and very informative.
Training Course Delivery – public sector client
We were contracted by a large public sector body to provide bespoke training workshops to small to medium enterprise businesses within the East Midlands area. The training requirement was for four different topics to be delivered over several workshops over the course of a year. Each workshop was written specifically to meet the needs of the target audience and covered topics around Marketing, PR, Customer Retention, Social Media, Online Marketing, Cashflow, Forecasting and Debt Management. A total of 32 workshops were delivered to an audience total of approximately 1000 businesses.
